The balcony repair lasted just under 3 months before it started cracking & crumbling again. Adam said he would come back & fix it. He stated that the building was moving (!) & could only be patched. A surveyor said there were no signs of subsidence. The paint repair job lasted one month...now cracked & crumbling again with insurers saying cheap materials were used...

According to these trades people their installation is guaranteed for two years. Since the installation of our decking things have gone wrong and I have tried on several occasions to get them back to put things right. I arranged for a rep that we purchased the composite decking from to come to the house ( he travelled from the north of England ) to explain to them where they had gone wrong. They could not even be bothered to turn up for the appointment. Texts/phone calls just being ignored. Stay clear !!

Work had to be redone, window not straight, tiles on roof had to be repositioned, the finish on the plaster is very poor in places. Quoted for new facia but used old. No receipt given, no guarantee.

Marcus and Jamie fitted a kitchen and floor for us last year. Marcus said after they were finally finished that it had been one of the most awkward and most problematic kitchens they had ever done. My main work is carpentry joinery, but also do the whole job, ie repair or redo the wood work, repair the plaster and redec. I have worked on national trust buildings, repairing to perfection and because I love gardening I do garden tidies and make overs as an extra side line.
