George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. Jim responded promptly to job request & arranged to come out on a Sunday. He got to work diagnosing the problem with the hot water timer unit and boiler. This had been not been properly installed previously and another Electrican had failed to fix Consequently the flat had not had access to full hot water for a few years However Jim’s persistence paid off and his experience and skills fixed the problem. Left everything tidy and clean. Will be using him again later this year, overall very satisfied with work. Alex was great.
I am very pleased with the service recieved from Alex. He quicky provided a competitive quote and arranged to get the work done on a Saturday morning. It involved the repair of an external door and he moved other jobs around so he could get to this sooner because it affected the security of the building. The repair looks great and he has painted the door frame for us. Alex even agreed to adjusting a door closer whilst there at no extra charge. I will use McLaurin Joinery again.
