Hi I have been a carpenter for about 20 years or so. I have worked both in first fix carpentry which includes framing, sub floors etc to second fox which includes architraves, skirting, flooring and hanging doors. Of recent years l have worked a lot as a cabinet maker so l am quite versatile. No job is too small, l will even come and put together some flat pack furniture for you or simply hang a shelf as l do realise not anyone has the tools or knows someone that can do a small job for them. James did a good day's work. He was joined by work mate Craig. They erected a pagoda. James started to sand my path and patios. He said he would come back on Monday to finish. He didn't. I called him again and on four different occasions he volunteered a day to come but didn't. I foolishly paid James in full. They left garden debris which took us several hours to clear up. I called James to politely say we would finish the sanding ourselves if we knew where he was up to. He has severed all contact.
