We are a home improvement company that have been in the trade for over 30 year. We also install kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors, composite doors, conservatories and sun-rooms and much more. We have taken on major contract works in the past by helping renovate the Hilton hotel in Nottingham and Brighton. But we would also go out and fit a curtain pole for an elderly lady or gent. Providing all aspects of plumbing and joinery. All works to be carried out by a fully qualified level 3 plumber and a level 3 joiner with 10+ years experience. Family run business started in 2022 by two cousins who have teamed up to bring two very detailed trades together, plumbing and joinery. We don’t have problems we’ll only ever have solution’s.

Did not turn up in the morning. I had to travel to meet this tradesman as I don’t live in the property. He didn’t bother to let me know he is not coming. After texting him he said “ Am so sorry i didn’t update my diary can i come see you tomorrow morning ?” When I said he is not getting a good feedback then he’s changed the excuse to “daughter unwell”, certainly a lie. I’ve seen his FB business page so he is a bathroom fitter and joiner?!! I think I’ve had a lucky escape. Avoid.

He arrived on time, he fixed my problem in good time and he was professional, courteous and friendly at all times. Jim and his son worked on my roof and gutters , Did a really good job they are genuine tradespeople they explained everything that needed to be done and give me a accurate quote they came to my home when they said they would and got on with the job, pleased with the workmanship, would certainly have no hesitation in using McMillans again!

This company agreed to do the job I advertised but cancelled on the day they were supposed to start and a new day was arranged (today) nobody has shown up and they are not answering their phone. If they can't or don't want the job, then please have the decency to let your customers know, so that they can arrange with other companies.
