George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. Initially we did feel that Joe had done a good job of hanging some new doors for us, however, after a very short time (a couple of days) the bathroom door was making a terrible squeaking noise when opening or closing. We have tried to get in touch with him to come back and rectify the problem to no avail, he has not even bothered to answer our email. Very disappointed.

Hung 3 doors perfectly. Was on time, efficient and cleaned up afterwards. Could not have asked for a better service.
The work was done well and he even picked up a few things from B&Q for me. Unfortunately when he plumbed in the sink he plumbed the the hot water to the cold tap and vice versa. Also, he left a saw mark in my Ercol kitchen table with a bit of his blood which he never told me about. But then neither did I. All things considered I would hire the man again and have no issue recommending him for other jobs.

All keen to quote within hours of posting the job. Exchanged messages and wanted to book him for a quote. Sent the videos of the pipe as requested and then got deafed. Messaged to ask if it was something he could do or not. He apologised and said he'd review the video and come back to me...that was 24th March...now on 10th April and still not replied. Came to fit a new shower tray and enclosure 19/12 and fit a lintel over a fire which was done well.However the shower we found 2 days after, due to waiting for sealant to dry, is unusable as the water does not drain away and floods the floor, also the tiles they put on around the shower fell off the wall as they were not stuck on properly before grout. I had paid them the day the job was done .I asked Paul to rectify it and he said he would on 31/12,then didn't attend & told me to get another plumber !

John is a really nice guy, I'd love to rate his actual work but after chasing for quotes for a few weeks I should have realised. I've been constantly chasing for three months to get the work complete. No option but to return insurance cheque for payment for the work I can't get completed and go through the whole process again with someone reliable. Shame as i said he seemed a really nice guy!.
