The work was done well and he even picked up a few things from B&Q for me. Unfortunately when he plumbed in the sink he plumbed the the hot water to the cold tap and vice versa. Also, he left a saw mark in my Ercol kitchen table with a bit of his blood which he never told me about. But then neither did I. All things considered I would hire the man again and have no issue recommending him for other jobs.

I had been generally happy with the paint work when it was finished but on closer inspection and having to spend 6+ hours cleaning up, I can categorically say I am not happy & keep finding more to be unhappy with. There is paint everywhere even inside one of the (brand new!) toilets and underneath the masking tape, where it was even used! There are drips of paint on the woodwork and all the window sills and doors need another coat. Holes in doorframes were also not filled before painting. Not happy at all

Came to fit a new shower tray and enclosure 19/12 and fit a lintel over a fire which was done well.However the shower we found 2 days after, due to waiting for sealant to dry, is unusable as the water does not drain away and floods the floor, also the tiles they put on around the shower fell off the wall as they were not stuck on properly before grout. I had paid them the day the job was done .I asked Paul to rectify it and he said he would on 31/12,then didn't attend & told me to get another plumber !

Kris was very reliable, gave great recommendations and completed the job to a great standard. He was good value and was great at keeping me informed as the job progressed. I am very pleased with the final result and would definitely recommend Kris to anyone. I will be using him again!

John is a really nice guy, I'd love to rate his actual work but after chasing for quotes for a few weeks I should have realised. I've been constantly chasing for three months to get the work complete. No option but to return insurance cheque for payment for the work I can't get completed and go through the whole process again with someone reliable. Shame as i said he seemed a really nice guy!.

Cheap & cheerful.... nice guy very polite cleaned up using our vacumn cleaner, misunderstood the interior doors we wanted. Ended up with cheap doors cheap handles and holes in our pockets. Never mind he's got enough to get married next year, thanks to the wife and I?

Linden did a great job for us - he was reliable, innovative and the quality of his craftsmanship was superb; so much so that we increased the amount of work we asked him to do. We would be happy to be contacted if anyone wanted to see this renovation.

Complete waste of time! Agreed on a price & date, he cancelled the first date the day before the job and rearranged for two weeks later. Tried contacting him in various ways the day before he was due to come round the second time and had no reply. He didn't turn up on the rearranged date and didn't even have the decency to call me to let me know he wasn't coming. Not impressed so would not recommend him!

Les arrived bright and early and found a suitable solution for a difficult task. He worked efficiently and left everything clean and tidy afterwards. Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to hire again.

Workman did not want to clean up after he had done our plastering. Spent a long time arguing on it and at the end we had to deduct cleaning fees from his final payment. Even at that he made such a messy job and the deducted fees were no way enough. nd on top of that his job was very unprofessional. Will not recommend him ever.

From the first contact throughout, Dobson's have been friendly, professional and a pleasure to deal with. The family run team are excellent at all aspects of the job from the ground up and the standard of work and attention to detail is second to none. Any issue was dealt with quickly.
