I had Okan Okten of O Electricals in to install a new consumer unit and issue an EICR. Turned out that he is not registered with any registered bodies like NICEIC, NAPIT etc.. He should NOT be issuing EICR certificates and charges customers for them as the certificates issued by him are useless. I send the certificate to Barnet Building Control and they rejected it. I tried contacting him but he is very evasive and been giving all sort of excuses and now wouldn't answer my calls or messages. Avoid.

Chris was able to guide us with our idea to convert our garage into a bedroom with ensuite. He provided easy to understand plans and graphics to help us visualise the possible end result. He also provided practicle ideas to help maximise the use of available space. A schedule of the work to be done was given and any changes were discussed. Oli is superb. Tidy, conscious, and adaptable. He stripped out the plasterboard walls and studwork in our home prior to remodelling. He worked quickly and confidently and respected our home. Whilst stripping out he came across some asbestos and he dealt with it appropriately, contacting an asbestos registered colleague and bagging it up and safety removing it at a very reasonable cost. We plan on using him again soon
They were very dodgy and unreliable. They took all the agreed money but never came back to finish the job. I was left without a kitchen, cooking utilises and drinking water for two whole months as no other builders were willing to pick up the mess they left behind. The garden was a complete mess with concrete and heavy building rumble. I strongly advise people to be wary of hiring them.

First lie: I told him after two weeks about broken cooker handle as it can be proved that I left my feedback about my broken cooker handle after 3 days he did the work. This proves that he can't be trusted in anyone's home as he can say anything. We had to pay plumber and we had to use our insurance to replace the broken handle.
