Just to be clear, we asked for your advise about the most economical way to make the doors clear. You said you could repair the doors. In repairing the warped wood your poor quality work resulted in the door leaking which in turn stained the carpet. We would have been better off not asking you to carry out any work on the door. Your response to the problem was unprofessional and I would not recommend you to anyone, no matter how small the job.

Do not use Jay, paid him half and then he didn’t finish the job and went awol leaving my downstairs bathroom in a right state, packing out gaps with bits of wood, lots of mastic use, toilet cistern not bolted to the wall, boxing in was not cut straight, he spray painted but that was uneven and he managed to get my hall walls too, now having to rip out everything he has done to start again. Job was to sand the floor of our flat and we set a price. After asking for more they guaranteed to finish for the extra price. A day later they pulled out of the job leaving it un finished. They said it was due to a black tar like substance. they said they had tried everything. My painter and decorator took a torch and scrapper and had it up in minutes. They had the wrong tools and seemed like first flooring job. After contacting asking to finish he said he would get back to me but failed to be reached.

The decking is sagging and moves every time you walk on it which we have to do to get out of the garden. The step also rocks when walked upon. The wood was left cracked in areas and there are some miss cuts. The concrete was undertaken during torrential rain and has resulted in constant dusting being trailed onto the decking and subsequently into the house. The concrete ran down the length of the driveway and cannot be removed. Phoned to complain 3 weeks ago and heard nothing further.
