Booked Christian for carpet fitting and paid a £200 deposit. He failed to turn up on the agreed day while I was waiting at the property, then sent vague, last-minute excuses about damaged materials. Phone calls were ignored and communication was evasive. Confidence lost due to the lack of professionalism and reliability, totally wasted my day, and I had to cancel and now pursue recovery of the deposit. Very poor experience — proceed with extreme caution.”

Mustafa and his colleague have done a first rate job replacing the vinyl floor in the loo at my parents' house. Warren (Southeast Paving company) did an excellent job, for a good price. This was a removal of an old fence, and installation of a new fence with new concrete poles. The work was complicated by the fact that the ground steps down. During the work, Warren unexpectedly encountered a concrete slab below the paving. He dealt with all that without a fuss. The end result looks great, and will last for many years.
